Day 3: Vikings weren't so bad, I guess...

We toured all around Oslo today. Saw lots of neat buildings and statues. We went to this gorgeous park where Gustav Vigeland carved out 121 statues and they're all wonderful.

The angry baby is apparently the most famous in the park. And most of the people posing with it - well, let's just say they weren't holding his hand....

We drove up this really huge hill to see this super famous ski jump. It's real scary. If you look above the first "tier" of light gray there is a dark stripe-like thing on the left and right side. Those are filled with people if you look close. See? Huge.

The Viking ship museum was really cool. (Or "Wiking" museum as our Norwegian tour guide would say.) Sort of small, but they had 5 boats there. Very cool stuff. Those Vikings were smart people.

Basically Norway is beautiful. It looks like Maine but with European buildings. I feel very normal here.
It's been SUPER hot though. And pretty much none of the buildings have AC so - yeah, it's really hot. I wasn't expecting it to be this way, but I guess it's nice to have the sun. Which is almost down - now that it's 11:30 pm.

I'm exhausted so i'm going to go to bed! More tomorrow! (And hopefully more cardamom bread!!) Bye!!
